Accurate environmental records
Submit only trees, forests, locations, measurements and monitoring evidence you are authorized to document. Do not fabricate plantings, duplicate records, manipulate impact claims, or misrepresent another person or organization.
Safe and lawful content
Do not submit unlawful, hateful, threatening, sexually explicit, exploitative, deceptive, infringing or malicious content. Photographs must be relevant to planting or monitoring and must not expose children, private residences, identification documents or other sensitive information without appropriate authorization.
Review and enforcement
User-submitted planting records remain pending until reviewed. TreePassport may reject, remove, anonymize or restrict records or accounts that breach these guidelines, endanger people or ecosystems, violate law, or undermine registry integrity.
Report a concern
Email admin@treepassport.org with the passport ID or page URL, the reason for the report and any supporting information. Reports are reviewed without promising a particular outcome, and urgent safety concerns should also be reported to the appropriate local authority.
